(2003) DLH GROUP HAS BOUGHT TransvisionPlanner to be their daily route planning solution. The DLH Group is a major Scandinavian timber, building material, and hardwood trading company. As a result of this, they have substantial transportation and distribution activities.   In the first implementation phase, Transvision Route Planner will handle the planning of the distribution of building material to retail subsidiaries, private house owners, and building grounds. The solution will also integrate inbound transportation with the distribution activities, so that the distribution vehicles can handle these activities in an efficient manner after finishing the daily distribution routes.   Before implementing the solution, Transvision will make some additional developments making it possible for Transvision Route Planner to automatically calculate when it is economically more feasible to let third party distributors handle a specific order.    Later, the solution will be rolled out to other divisions plus countries outside Scandinavia.   Read about the DLH Group.   For more information, please find your Transvision contact.
