(OCT. 2010) THE DANISH WORKING ENVIRONMENT AUTHORITY has at its disposal approximately 400 inspectors who evaluate the working environment of all Danish companies within a time span of three years. Moreover, these inspectors handle several other types of assignments, e.g. work-related accidents, follow-up visits and various campaigns. 

The agency has a large number of rather complex planning requirements, which only a high-end solution like Transvision Service Planner was considered fit to meet satisfactorily. Transvision Service Planner will not only be able to satisfy the current requirements of the Danish Working Environment Authority but also any future requirements which the agency may have.

At the Danish Working Environment Authority, Transvision Service Planner will be used for making rough, long-term plans for one year at a time. The long-term planning will be carried out centrally, whereas the four local inspection centres utilising Transvision Service Planner will handle operational and daily planning.

With Transvision Service Planner, the Danish Working Environment Authority will, for instance, enjoy the advantage of being able to automatically plan visits involving two different inspectors who have to meet to perform an assignment. The agency will also have the possibility of placing the routes of a less experienced inspector close to those of an experienced inspector, resulting in shorter response times as regards on-site help.
