(MARCH 2010) TRANSVISION IS PLEASED to announce and introduce the newest partner and reseller of Transvision optimisation tools in Ireland, Tranzaura Ltd.
Tranzaura is a young, innovative company based in Limerick which provides technology solutions to the transport sector. The company was founded by Mike Price and Tom Fogarty in 2009 and has the backing of Enterprise Ireland and private investors. Mike has over 20 years of experience working in the transport and logistics sector, both in Ireland and in the UK. Tom Fogarty is an IT consultant with more than 13 years of experience within different areas of the IT industry.
This partnership between Tranzaura and Transvision will bring route planning and route optimisation systems to the Irish market for the first time by an Irish company and thereby allow Irish companies to achieve up to 15 % savings on their annual distribution and transport costs.
Mike Price of Tranzaura explains, “After having researched this type of software extensively all over the world during the last 2 years, Tranzaura selected Transvision’s solutions. This decision was made based on Transvision’s experience of more than 25 years within this field, and due to the fact that the systems are highly configurable and therefore can be used by virtually all types of Irish companies with transport and distribution.”
Transvision is Scandinavia’s leading supplier of transport planning and optimisation systems and is actively building a strong presence outside Scandinavia. The vision is to strengthen the company’s position as a provider of the most advanced and effective planning and optimisation systems within the industry.
