(AUG. 2010) IN 2008, ISS FRUGT.DK decided to implement Transvision Route Planner in an effort to reduce distribution costs and improve customer satisfaction and thereby become more competitive.   Frugt.dk packs and delivers fruit baskets and boxes to workplaces in Denmark. With 7,000 customers and 60 % of the volume being distributed on Mondays, frugt.dk found it challenging to carry out efficient manual route planning. Very tight time windows, fixed delivery days and dense routes only added to the complexity.
