(MAY 2010) TRANSVISION HAS ENTERED into a partnership with the Irish environmental IT solutions provider AMCS.
AMCS is a leading Irish supplier of IT, weighing and tracking solutions to environmental industries. The company was incorporated in 2003, initially focussing on the Irish waste market but quickly expanding to other parts of Europe, and even to other industries. Today, it operates across the Western hemisphere, with subsidiary offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway and the US.
To strengthen the company’s product portfolio for the waste industry, AMCS has integrated Transvision Route Planner into their advanced IT back office solution. AMCS’s system contains all information about customers, visit patterns, volumes, etc., but due to the smooth and close interaction between the two systems, it is also possible to access this data in Transvision Route Planner, which then performs automatic route planning. Once the planning is complete, the optimised routes are sent back to AMCS’s system and from there out to the vehicles’ on-board computers.
This combined technology provides waste disposal operators with the perfect system for route planning, billing, waste registration, follow-up, monitoring customer behaviour, measuring route and recycling efficiency, and much more. Moreover, the automated process helps to increase customer service and reduce administration time and operational costs.
Besides selling their systems with specialist support on implementation, AMCS also offers system-independent optimisation on a consultancy basis. This expertise, together with the company’s overall professionalism, makes AMCS a highly attractive partner to Transvision, paving the way for a synergy between leaders in their respective fields.
AMCS and Transvision are already servicing customers like Clean Ireland, AES and Blaenau Gwent County Borough, but we are looking forward to delivering our solutions to many other waste management companies and local authorities in the future. In general, Transvision heartily welcomes a future of mutually beneficial partnership with AMCS.
