(JAN. 2008) OBH INGENIØRSERVICE has recently decided to purchase Transvision Fleet Planner for planning and optimising the routes and working day of 65 consultants.
OBH Ingeniørservice is a part of OBH-Gruppen that covers business areas such as insurance loss assessment, working environment consultancy, preparation of inspection surveys and energy labels and all forms of consulting engineering services. OBH-Gruppen has more than 40 years of experience within engineering consultancy and employs more than 260 people.
The technicians working at OBH Ingeniørservice daily visit two or more houses to draw up inspection surveys and energy labels when a house is put up for sale. When an estate agent places an order, the service visit needs to be co-ordinated with the customer, and scheduled to take place within the following four days.
When planning the order it is important to ensure that the appropriate technicians with the correct certificates are matched with the requirements of the orders. Further complications are added to the planning in that the technicians start from their own home addresses in the morning and need to go the central office during the day for administrative work.
The main objective for OBH Ingeniørservice, when choosing to implement Transvision Fleet Planner, was to achieve better resource planning, more efficient working procedures and better work conditions for the technicians.
