(DEC. 2007) ISS ROUTEBASED IN DENMARK has bought Transvision Route Planner to optimise their routes for their mobile work-force.
ISS Denmark’s division RouteBased is a part of the global ISS-Group which employs more than 415,000 people in 50 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia. In Denmark, ISS is the largest facility service company, and it employs approx 13,000 people who manage service jobs within cleaning, catering, office support, and property maintenance.
ISS RouteBased in Denmark handles all areas within ISS Denmark that operates with collection, delivery, or service visits in both a master planning and a daily planning set-up. The division handles areas like aqua wall maintenance, vermin control, food distribution, and much more.
ISS RouteBased is going to use Transvision Route Planner to optimise the transport within each business area and gradually make all transport within the division more efficient. In addition, ISS RouteBased will use the system for evaluating potential company acquisitions and price bidding on tenders.
